In our lobby hall we have a wonderful display of area attractions on our display of rack cards.  If you are looking for something nearby or something just minutes away, we have an assortment of cards to pick up.  Our front desk will also try to help direct you in where you are looking to go or what you are planning to do in the area.

Lake Nottely Improvement Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation under the Georgia statutes. The board and officers are all volunteers and receive no compensation from the LNIA.

Our Mission is to maintain, protect and enhance the quality of Lake Nottely and its surroundings for the benefit of all lake users. We work closely with the TVA, GA DNR, USFS, Union County, and the Hiwassee River Watershed Coalition in the pursuit of these goals.  Click here to visit the website

The Banks County Sheriff’s Office is a full service law enforcement agency responsible for enforcing criminal and traffic laws in a county with over 230 square miles.  The sheriff’s office is not only responsible for enforcing criminal and traffic laws, but also services all the civil process from the various courts to whom the process is directed.  The sheriff’s office also maintains a constant updated list of all the registered sex offenders on our website and monitors their movements within our county.

The sheriff’s office operates with three divisions; the Uniform Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigations, and the Jail Division.  Each division has their duties posted on our website.
