Description: Bring your child ages 3-7 to experience “Growing Up Wild” at Unicoi State Park on February 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.. The program will take place at the Visitors Center in the campground and costs $5.00 per child and adults are free. Join Park Rangers along with your child to experience field-tested, hands-on, nature based activities. The activities involve social, emotional,
physical, language, and cognitive domains to help foster learning and
development in all areas.
Growing Up WILD is an early childhood education program that builds on
children’s sense of wonder about nature and invites them to explore
wildlife and the world around them. Through a wide range of activities
and experiences, Growing Up WILD provides an early foundation for
developing positive impressions about the natural world and lifelong
social and academic skills.
Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register call

need to know your name, telephone number, and the number of people
attending. Unicoi State Park and Lodge is located 2 miles north of
Helen, GA on Hwy. 356.
