Each year has but twelve months and hopefully we have all made the most of them. The daily list of things to do can get tedious and make us feel bored or worn out. That is why it is so important to have celebrations and special days throughout the year – we get out of our routine and refresh ourselves, at least mentally. Whether it is a birthday, anniversary or a day like July 4th, celebrating it tends to renew our spirit. So by the time we get to the end of year we really need to find a fun way to usher in the New Year. Some people like to have a midnight toast with a room full of people while others choose a quieter route and spend the evening with family and close friends. No matter how we ring in the New Year be assured that it will get here so have fun and be safe. The following are fun facts about New Year’s Eve. Some are well known, others are rather obscure. Enjoy!
