Banks County Sheriff’s Office
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office is a full service law enforcement agency responsible for enforcing criminal and traffic laws in a county with over 230 square miles. The sheriff’s office is not only responsible for enforcing criminal and traffic laws, but also services all the civil process from the various courts to whom the process is directed. The sheriff’s office also maintains a constant updated list of all the registered sex offenders on our website and monitors their movements within our county.
The sheriff’s office operates with three divisions; the Uniform Patrol Division, the Criminal Investigations, and the Jail Division. Each division has their duties posted on our website.
